About Us

Since 1930, the Holy Ghost Association has been known to all as a place of endless goodwill to the Island community.

About Us

Nestled in the heart of Oak Bluffs, the Portuguese American Club has transformed over the years into a vibrant and inclusive community center on Martha’s Vineyard. Beyond its origins tied to the Feast of the Holy Ghost, our club has diverse offerings, welcoming individuals from all walks of life. Under the leadership of 11 active board members, the club has embraced change and stands as a testament to unity and support. From weekly live music to charitable fundraisers, the PA Club serves as a social haven, embodying the spirit of a "neighborhood bar" reminiscent of the iconic "Cheers". Membership affirms commitment to the club's ongoing projects, maintenance, and community initiatives. Join us in celebrating the rich history and dynamic present of the PA Club, where everyone is invited to be a part of a community that values connection, benevolence, and the spirit of togetherness.
